Summer Holidays

Since before I was born, my family from my dad's side has had the tradition of going to the beach for two weeks in the summer, to a little place called "El Tabito" in El Tabo beach. This place is semi-private and has a lot of cabins and a direct path to the sea. Since it’s mostly private, there’s a group of people that go every year and we get together there. I made a lot of friends there when I was growing up. So I would like to go there with my siblings, their partners and my dad.

 

 

 
I would also like to make a trip to the south of Chile with my partner, we haven't decided yet if we are going or where to, since we usually do things spontaneously. I would love to go to Valdivia, Chiloé or Punta Arenas. 

The activities that I like to do when I go on holidays are not that adventurous. I like to sleep and rest a lot, go to the beach, maybe bathe in the sea, read, go out to eat, take walks, watch movies and just enjoy not having responsibilities to attend to.

One of the things that keeps me from wanting to go on vacation and really enjoying myself is the fact that I have to leave my cats at home. I have 3 of them and I love them to death; they're like my babies. So I have to leave them with my mom or somebody else, because I can't take them with me to other places. People usually don't like renting places to stay to people with pets. And also, maybe they would get very stressed if I went out and took them with me, traveling for some hours and being somewhere they're not familiar with. So one of the downsides is that I'm constantly thinking about them, hoping they're ok and haven't killed each other yet. But like every year, it’s a compromise I have to make in order to get some days out and chill.
